Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the INHAND app, website, and services. By using INHAND you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

INHAND is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local shops ("vendors"). Vendors are the sellers of record for the products you order; INHAND facilitates discovery, ordering, payment, and delivery.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use INHAND.

3. Orders & pricing

• Prices, availability, and delivery times are set based on the vendor and your location, and may change.
• An order is confirmed when the vendor accepts it. If a vendor cannot fulfil an order, it may be cancelled and any prepayment refunded.
• Where your cart spans multiple vendors, it is split into one order per vendor, each fulfilled independently.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. INHAND charges vendors a platform commission; customers pay the order total plus any delivery fee shown at checkout. Cash on delivery may be available.

5. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are targets, not guarantees, and depend on distance, availability, weather, and traffic. A delivery OTP may be required to complete hand-off.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access data that is not yours, place fraudulent orders, or interfere with the platform's operation or security.

7. Vendor terms

Vendors additionally agree to list accurate products, honour prices, fulfil accepted orders, and comply with applicable laws (including food safety and GST). Vendors receive their payout net of the platform commission.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, INHAND is not liable for the quality of products sold by vendors, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount of the order in question.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or unlawful activity. You may close your account at any time.
