INHAND ("we", "us") operates a hyperlocal delivery marketplace connecting you with nearby shops. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We are committed to processing your data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, phone number, email, and password (stored only as a salted hash by our identity provider).
• Location data: your delivery address and — with your permission — device location, used solely to find serviceable shops and route deliveries.
• Order data: items, amounts, payment method (we never store full card numbers), and delivery details.
• Device & usage data: app version, device model, and diagnostic/crash data to keep the service reliable.

2. How we use your data

• To fulfil orders and share only the necessary details (name, address, items) with the specific vendor and delivery partner handling your order.
• To process payments securely through our payment partner (Razorpay).
• To send you order updates, and — where you have opted in — offers and reminders.
• To detect fraud, secure accounts, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share order details only with the vendor and delivery partner assigned to that order. We use trusted processors (cloud hosting, payments, messaging) under contractual safeguards. We never sell your personal data.

4. Data security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and access is governed by strict role-based rules. Vendors can only ever access their own orders and customers — never another vendor's, and never your full payment details.

5. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from the app (Profile → Privacy) or by emailing privacy@inhand.app. We honour verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to lawful retention (e.g. tax records).

6. Data retention

We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Children

INHAND is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
